What would you do if your child or a loved one was diagnosed with mental illness?
Chances are you’re connected with someone coping with a mental health condition. One in five Americans will be affected by mental illness in their lifetime according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. You can make sure they don’t face it alone.
During Mental Health Month, please join St. Joseph’s Villa and our community partners in fighting stigma, supporting those in need, and advocating for mental health services. The needs our children and families are experiencing today are profound, and they deserve the opportunity to get help to achieve all life has to offer.
Please take a few minutes to watch our video featuring the director of our Crisis Stabilization Unit, Rhonda Carter. As Rhonda says, more people should talk about mental health. Having the conversation can save lives.
