Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Trolley Stop is more than a cozy place for lunch and perfect meeting venue. It’s an on-campus job training resource that provides students of our Career and Transitional Services program (including youth with developmental disabilities) hands-on job experience and education that can lead to higher earning potential and greater independence as adults.
Many of our dishes are made with produce and other ingredients fresh from the adjacent Learning & Therapy garden. Tending and harvesting ingredients teaches our culinary students the process of seed-to-table food production as well as the value of healthy eating.
To find out the daily special or to place a lunch order in advance, please call 804-553-3307. We gladly accommodate parties small and large.
We hope to see you soon!

Why is it called the Trolley Stop Café? The Richmond-Ashland Electric Line ran behind St. Joseph’s Villa until 1938. You can still see the trolley tracks there today. Click here for a historic photo on the Richmond Times-Dispatch website.
