Calling All Alumni! Reunion Dates Set!
It's official! The St. Joseph's Villa 2008 Alumni Reunion has been set for June 27-29 at St. Joseph's Villa in Richmond. Anyone who has a Villa connection is encouraged to come share your memories.
During the reunion, we will have plenty of opportunities for you to reconnect with others you may have known while you were here at St. Joseph's Villa. We are still in the process of finalizing all of the details, and we are glad to send you more information as it becomes available.
You may know that the Villa's 175th anniversary is coming up in November 2009. In celebration of this milestone, St. Joseph's Villa ha commissioned Wayne Dementi and George Bruner to produce a book describing our rich past. (Wayne and George recently completed a similar book describing the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart's first 100 years.) We have already inventoried the St. Joseph's Villa archival materials and made a trip to Emmitsburg to review materials in the care of the Daughters of Charity. The book will be a wonderful accounting of the values and events that make St. Joseph's Villa so special.
We are hoping that as many alumni and former employees as possible can join us for our reunion, and that you can bring your photographs and memories with you. Wayne and George will be on hand during the reunion to scan photographs and collect your memories for inclusion in the book.
In addition, the reunion will offer a chance for you to visit old friends, see the Villa campus and find out about our plans for the future!
