CEO Kathleen Burke Barrett honored at Virginia State Capitol

During the General Assembly, our CEO Kathleen Burke Barrett was honored by the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates for 17 years of pioneering leadership at the Villa, and her career of compassionate service to the Greater Richmond community. Representatives greeted Kathleen before she was introduced in the Capitol's Senate and House galleries to receive a commending resolution. Congratulations, Kathleen, on this well deserved recognition!

Kathleen Burke Barrett, Chief Executive Officer of St. Joseph’s Villa, has announced her plans to retire in December 2023 after leading the organization for 17 years. Under Barrett’s leadership, the Villa increased its capacity from serving 800 children and families each year to over 3,000.
