Life insurance can help protect your loved ones’ financial health if you are no longer there to support them.

Employer Paid: Full-Time Salaried Employees

As a full-time salaried employee, you will receive, at no cost to you, a Guaranteed Issue Amount of two (2) times your salary (to a maximum of $150,000) of life insurance through Cigna. This benefit becomes effective the first of the month following your date of hire.

You are entitled to choose any coverage offered up to the Guaranteed Issue Amount, without providing proof of good health, if you are a new hire and elect coverage within 31 days. If your active service ends due to disability, at age 60 or over, your life insurance coverage will continue while you are disabled.

Employee Paid: Full-Time Salaried and Hourly Employees

All full-time salaried and hourly employees of St. Joseph’s Villa are eligible for coverage. Your spouse (up to age 70) and child(ren) are also eligible as long as you apply for and are approved for coverage yourself.

Actual per pay period premiums may differ slightly due to rounding. The rates above reflect the total cost. All spouse rates are based upon employee age.

Accidental Death & Disability (AD&D) Insurance

If you pass away or are seriously injured as a result of a covered accident or injury, you or your beneficiaries will receive a set amount to help pay for unexpected expenses, or help your loved ones pay for future expenses after you’re gone.
